Fresh, Natural Christmas Trees

Covid-19 Update

We are deeply grateful for the efforts of a lot of people over the past few months, but especially for the farmers whose hard work and innovation kept us fed this spring, and for the grocery store workers who took on unknown risks to stock shelves and pack orders when it would have been easy to just stay home.  Thank you.

Wildflower Walks Cancelled

In light of the pandemic, we have, unfortunately, had to cancel the Wildflower Walks planned for August, 2020.  This was a difficult decision and one that had to be made fairly early in the pandemic, but we believe that it was the right decision for the protection of our guests, workers, and family.  In the meantime, we have planted cover crops in our flower fields to protect and nourish the soil, and we look forward to welcoming you to the farm in 2021.

Pumpkins Are Growing!

Our pumpkin patch is doing well and our October Pumpkinfest is still a go!  The pumpkins are growing well and barring some change in government directives between now and then, we plan to be open for pumpkin sales on October 3-4, 2020.  Stay tuned!

We offer cut-your-own and pre-cut Certified Organic Christmas Trees. We have a large supply of Colorado Blue Spruce and Eastern White Spruce, ranging in height up to approximately twelve feet, along with a few Fraser Firs, with more species on the way.

Our trees are Certified Organic by Pro-Cert

The Experience

Our goal at Cricket Creek Farm is to provide a quiet, relaxing, day in the country for families looking to bring home an authentic, natural holiday tree. We are a small, family-run, family-friendly operation. Come out, go for a walk, explore the fields and trails. Pull up a chair by the fire and tell us about yourself. Breathe in the crisp fall air. Enjoy the beauty of Hockley Valley. Take your time.

Tree Shaking & Baling

We would be pleased to put your tree on our tree shaker before you take it home. The shaker removes dead needles, grasses, and other things that might fall out of your tree en route to your living room. Upon request, we will also put your tree (up to about 9′ in height – very large trees will not fit) through our baler, where it will be wrapped tightly in candy-cane netting. Baling makes your tree more compact for transportation, and easier to get through your door. We will happily help carry your tree to your vehicle, and provide twine to allow you to secure your tree to your vehicle. There is no extra charge for shaking, baling, helping carry your tree to your vehicle, or twine.
